Use the sign-in method tied to your account
Helm supports the dashboard authentication methods configured for the environment, including email/password, magic-link flows, and Google Sign-In where Google OAuth is configured.
If Google Sign-In is unavailable in an environment, continue with email or contact support. If you are accepting an invite, use the invite link so Helm can apply the correct site, seat, role, and location assignment.
Recover access carefully
Use the forgot-password or email-link flows from the dashboard login screen when you cannot sign in. Make sure you are using the same email address your owner or manager invited.
If your account is disabled, removed from the site, or not linked to the right site, support will need the business name, your email address, and the role you expect to have. Helm should not bypass owner approval for account changes.
Protect owner access
Keep at least one active owner who can manage billing, team access, and support. If the business changes hands, handle the owner transition before removing the previous operator.
For security, do not share passwords or magic links. Invite each staff member individually so audit history and role boundaries stay understandable.
