Build the service catalog first

Create services with names customers understand, clear durations, pricing where relevant, buffers, booking limits, and availability rules. The public booking page should make it easy to pick a service and time without needing manual back-and-forth.

Use closures and custom-hours exceptions for holidays, private events, staff breaks, or special operating days. This keeps slot availability trustworthy across Malaysian time zones and global customers booking from elsewhere.

Operate bookings from the dashboard

Bookings connect to customers, Overview, reminders, receipts where supported, exports, and follow-up work. Confirm, reschedule, cancel, complete, and review bookings from the dashboard so the customer history stays accurate.

Services can be configured for no upfront payment, a fixed or percentage deposit, or full payment at booking time. Service add-ons, packages, custom payable items, and product-backed service items remain booking snapshots that merchants can convert into booking-linked invoices or product orders from the dashboard.

Use queue and event tools within scope

Waitlist is a Growth Services queue workflow with public self-join, staff status changes, and manual customer updates through supported channels. It does not add automatic queue delivery.

Events are a Business Services capability for v1 event operations such as registration, ticketing where supported, check-in, exports, orders, receipts, and history. It is not a full external ticketing marketplace or seating-map platform.
